Privacy Policy

Rogina Property Group (“we,” “us”) operates this website to help Southern California homeowners work out what to do with a property. This policy describes what the site collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It describes this website only.

What you give us

When you complete a property review request, you give us:

• The address of the property
• Your answers about its condition and situation, and about your goals, timeline and preferences
• Any additional details you choose to write in
• Your first and last name, email address and phone number
• If you use the net sheet, the figures you enter there, which can include what you believe the property is worth and what is still owed on it

Every one of those is typed in by you. If a postcard from us is how you found this site, your address came from public property records, which is how direct mail works and is the only way we knew to write to you. Nothing from those records is combined with what you enter here, and we do not buy contact lists from lead brokers.

What the site records by itself

• Where you came from. The page you first landed on, the website that referred you, and any campaign tags on the link, including the code on a postcard. This is how we know which mailing reached you.
• Your browser’s user agent string and the country the request came from.
• A salted one-way hash of your IP address. Not the address itself. It exists so the same machine cannot submit the form fifty times, and it cannot be turned back into an IP address.

What is stored in your own browser

This site sets no cookies of its own. Two things are saved in your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent anywhere except when you submit the form:

• Your in-progress answers, so you can leave and come back without starting over
• The campaign tags from the link you arrived on, so they survive you moving between pages

Clearing your browser’s site data for this site removes both. No analytics, advertising or social media trackers run on this site. We are not currently running any advertising, and nothing on these pages reports your visit to Google, Meta or anyone else.

What we do with it

• Work out your options for the property and prepare what we discuss with you
• Contact you about your request
• Understand which mailings and pages bring in homeowners we can genuinely help
• Stop automated abuse of the forms

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any price. We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing, and we do not trade or co-register it with other investors or agents.

Calling and texting you

When you submit a request you are asking us to get in touch, and we will. Usually that is a call or a text from one of us, at the number you gave us. Agreeing to it is not a condition of anything and you are not committing to sell us anything. Message and data rates may apply.

You can stop it at any time, by any means that makes your wishes clear. Reply STOP to a text, say so on the phone, or email Tyler@RoginaPropertyGroup.com. We record it against your file the same day and we will not call, text or mail you again. We do not require you to use a particular method or a particular form of words.

Who else sees it

Only service providers that make the site work, and only with what they need to do their part. None of them is permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

• Cloudflare hosts the site and the database your request is stored in, and guards the private admin pages.
• Resend delivers the email that confirms your request to you and the one that alerts us to it.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honour both, and today there is nothing for them to switch off. The site runs no analytics or advertising scripts at present. If that ever changes, a browser sending a Global Privacy Control signal or a Do Not Track header will have none of them loaded for its visit, with nothing to click and no banner to accept. The code that does this is in the site itself, not in a third-party consent tool.

No third party collects personal information about you on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep a property review request for as long as we are working with you, and afterwards as a record of what was discussed and of any instruction you gave us about being contacted. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep enough to honour that, because deleting you entirely is how a business ends up writing to someone who asked it not to. If you ask us to delete your information, we delete it.

Your choices

Email Tyler@RoginaPropertyGroup.com or call 562-999-1885 and we will:

• Tell you what we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete it
• Stop contacting you, permanently

We do not charge for any of this and we do not require a particular form of words. We will come back to you within thirty days, and sooner for a request to stop contacting you.

California gives residents rights of this kind under the California Consumer Privacy Act against businesses large enough to fall under it, which this one is not. We offer them anyway. We also do not sell or share personal information as that law uses those terms, and there is nothing here for you to opt out of.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, your request is stored in a private database that is not reachable from the public internet, and the admin pages that show it require a verified login restricted to named people. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Children

This site is for adults selling property. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email Tyler@RoginaPropertyGroup.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If the change is a material one, such as collecting a new category of information or sharing it with a new kind of recipient, we will say so in a dated note here and email anyone whose request is still open.
